About

About 30 years ago Jane and I took our children to a local tree farm the week before Christmas to cut our own tree. We enjoyed the experience so much we decided to replicate and perhaps improve the experience for our family, friends and neighbors. So started the Spring Valley Tree Farm in 1986. Since then, we have learned growing high quality conifers for Christmas is hard work and requires a lot of time, talent and treasure.  As we learned to grow Christmas trees, we have also tried to create a special place for you to begin your Christmas memory.

We now have more than 20,000 trees growing on about 20 acres of beautiful rolling farmland just above the Little Miami River. We have a variety of spruces, white pines and fir trees ready for cutting.

We are committed to making your visit to our farm enjoyable and to helping you have the best possible experience with a fresh cut tree, living tree, wreath or other product. We work hard to eliminate the typical problems many have had with cut trees such as loose needles or not enough help. Our trees are obviously fresh when you cut them. We provide sharp saws and cutting help if you need it. Our handy carriers make transporting your tree from the field to your car easy and fun. We clean the trees and drill them if you wish. We offer bailing for $1.00 and will help you tie the tree to your vehicle for a safe trip home. We also sell a variety of helpful products such as tree stands and tree disposal bags. All of this, to make your experience a pleasant beginning to the Christmas celebration.

Our staff is well informed and eager to help you cut and load your tree. They will be happy to explain the trees available and provide helpful care tips.

Jane and I look forward to meeting you and your family.
